With so many voices on line, twittering, blogging, conversing, I considered the direction for a poetisa peregrina’s blog. What relevance could I offer to the growing maze of words and information?

¿Para qué intentar un blog? ¿Para qué invertir horas y agregar le al laberinto que nunca descansa?
No tengo la respuesta perfecta, la respuesta de un sabio. Lo que si tengo es una inquietud para compartir pedacitos de lo que me inspira, de compartir historias y momentos vividos. Tal vez lo que se registre en este blog inicie una conversación y de luz a nuevas amistades. Tal vez sea parte de una búsqueda.
Papa Benedicto XVI en su mensaje para la Jornada Mundial de las Comunicaciones Sociales dijo que “La vida no es una simple sucesión de hechos y experiencias; es más bien la búsqueda de la verdad, del bien, de la belleza.”
Sobre las amistades escribió que “Los amigos deben sostenerse y animarse mutuamente para desarrollar sus capacidades y talentos, y para poner éstos al servicio de la comunidad humana.”
Con este blog espero sostener y animar los amigos que voy conociendo.
Yo misma tengo tanto que aprender, y sigo con pasos sobre el camino dispuesto por Dios para asimilar las experiencias que me encuentro en esta peregrinación.
Yes…sometimes the words fall into place in English and sometimes in Spanish. The blood of two countries runs in my veins and my mother’s tongue flows with my father’s English indiscriminately. When needed, I edit the two into their separate parts. Today I let them mingle. Why hide to the two sides.

In regard to friendships, he notes “Friends should support and encourage each other in developing their gifts and talents and in putting them at the service of the human community.”
I proceed with this blog with the hope that what I share will serve as a catalyst for support and encouragement of the friends I meet along this pilgrimage. May the Spirit stir among the on line voices on this growing web.
